Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor or Ralia is one of the most loved celebrity couples of Bollywood. From sweet date night appearances to grand confessions at events, the duo has often served major couple goals. And Alia has always been the one to openly declare her love and admiration for Ranbir.
One of their unforgettable confessions took place at the 64th Filmfare Awards. The night was truly special as Alia took home the black lady for Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) for Raazi and Ranbir won the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) for Sanju. Alia went onto the stage to accept her award and thanked everyone. But what caught everyone’s attention was the way she signed off her speech.
She said, “Tonight is all about love, so last but not least, my special one. Thank you for making my eyes shine and my heart smile. I love you”, Alia concluded leaving a spellbound Ranbir blushing in the audience. The moment quickly became one of their most talked about public displays of affection.

Later, Alia reminisced the moment in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) segment on her YouTube channel. When fans asked her about her most memorable day of 2019, she said “Well, there have been quite a few memorable days. But I think for me, the most special moment was when I received my Filmfare award and Ranbir had just received his Filmfare Award. There was a moment of us on stage and pictures were clicking, that was the most memorable moment. I kind of imagined it in my head and it came true.
Yet another adorable moment of the duo that stole the show happened at 69th Filmfare awards 2024. During his performance at the awards, Ranbir stepped down to dance with Alia, and they both grooved to Jamal Kudu from Animal balancing glasses on their heads. They ended it with a sweet kiss that echoed cheers across the audience.

Alia and Ranbir got married on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at their home. Speaking to us about her life after marriage, she said, “Ranbir is my best friend, so after marriage, nothing has changed between us. He is the same person. Jitni taareef karun kam hi hai. As a husband and as a life partner, it’s a complete set of adjectives that I can use for him. He always supports me. Mujhe bahut hansaate hain. All of my concerns have vanished after getting married to him.” Alia and Ranbir are parents of their three-year-old daughter Raha.
We also asked Alia about the qualities that she likes and dislikes in Ranbir. She said, “What I genuinely love about him is that he’s all heart. He’s a very, very pure and simple. There’s no fuss and that same simplicity translates in him as an actor as well. That’s why you can always see through him and see into his eyes. He’s simple. He’s not trying to emote or express. Ya, that’s what I like most about Mr. Ranbir Kapoor. What I do not like about him? I don’t dislike anything about him as of now.”
On the professional front, the duo will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama Love & War. While Alpha and Ramayana are slated to be Alia and Ranbir’s most anticipated individual upcoming projects, respectively.
