Recently, celebrities Kriti Sanon and Nushrratt Bharuccha were spotted at the airport. Kriti kept it casual and stylish, wearing black jeans and a shacket with a white tank top underneath. She completed her look with sunglasses and was seen smiling for the cameras. On the other hand, Nushrratt Bharuccha wore a dark blue denim long dress, accessorized with a pink side bag, sunglasses, and nude heels.

While Kriti Sanon is enjoying the success of her film Crew and gearing up for Do Patti, her debut film as a producer, Nushrratt Bharuccha was last seen in a cameo in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

Kiran Rao, who was recently in talks for her second directorial Laapataa Ladies, which was appreciated by audiences, opened up about her struggle to become a mother in an interview with a leading portal.

She was asked if she ever regretted taking a 10-year pause to raise her son Azad. Kiran revealed that becoming a mother was tough for her and that for five years, she dealt with miscarriages, personal, and physical health issues.

Despite the challenges, she really wanted to be a mother and have a child.

She revealed that when Azad was born in 2011 via surrogacy, all she wanted to do was be beside him and raise him. She added that she doesn’t regret that time and enjoyed herself to the fullest.

Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan welcomed Azad in 2011 via surrogacy. Although the couple have divorced, they continue to co-parent their child.

Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and Jyoti Deshpande, was screened at the Toronto Film Festival and later released on September 8, 2023.

Putting her professional oath ahead of a potentially political one, a candidate for the assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh, who is also a doctor, delayed her campaign to help a woman deliver a baby via a caesarean section. 

Gottipati Lakshmi, the TDP candidate for the Darsi Assembly constituency in Prakasam district, was about to leave to campaign on Thursday when she was informed about a woman who was losing amniotic fluid – which can lead to a miscarriage and also endanger the mother – and had been referred to a hospital in Guntur.

Ms Lakshmi, who is from a political family but is making her electoral debut, went to the private hospital where Venkata Ramana from Abbayai Palem in the Kurichedu Mandal of the district was admitted.

“The doctors at the private hospital had referred her to Guntur. I went there and conducted the surgery to save the mother and child,” Ms Lakshmi told NDTV. The mother and child are healthy.

“I will build a hospital here once the TDP wins,” she said. 

Voting will be held for all 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh on May 13. The YSR Congress Party, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, had swept 151 Assembly seats and 22 Lok Sabha constituencies in 2019. Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP had won 23 and three respectively.
