Pics: Allu Arjun Arrives in Japan to Promote Pushpa 2 The Rule

Back home, while fans and audiences are soaking in the Sankranti festival, Allu Arjun had different plans. The actor landed in Japan to celebrate the release of his blockbuster film Pushpa 2 The Rule. The Sukumar directorial is slated to hit the screens in Japan on January 16 as ‘Pushpa Kunrin’ with premieres being held on January 15.

After having scripted many records at the Indian box office, Pushpa 2 is set to enthrall the Japanese audiences. Upon landing, Allu Arjun who is also accompanied by his family, received a warm welcome and fans have turned out in large numbers to cheer for the actor. He took to his official Instagram handle and greeted netizens with a lovely picture from Tokyo. The post, featuring the beautiful city skyline, was captioned simply with “Tokyo.”

Distributors Geek Pictures and Shochiku have partnered with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings to bring the Pushpa madness to Japan. The film, which is set for a grand release across nearly 250 theatres, also has a Japanese reference…Allu Arjun’s introduction fight sequence is set in Japan. A pre-release meet would be held on January 15 followed by release on 16. The makers of Pushpa 2 The Rule are hoping that the action entertainer will strike a chord with the audiences in Japan.
