The 83rd Golden Globe Awards took place on January 12 IST at the Beverly Hilton in California, bringing together some of the biggest global stars. The night was marked by several deserving wins, including historic first-time victories. One Battle After Another bagged four major awards, including Best Film – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (Female).

Netflix’s global hit Adolescence also made a mark, and Own Cooper became the youngest actor to win a Golden Globe. The show won four awards, including Best Limited Series, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor (Male), and Best Supporting Actor (Female).
Wagner Moura also made history by winning the Best Actor (Drama/Film) award for The Secret Agent. On the other hand, Timothee Chalamet won the Best Male Actor in a Film (Musical/Comedy) for Marty Supreme.
