Wish They Would Treat Us With More Care- BTS Leader RM Comments on Their Agency

BTS’ leader, Kim Namjoon, aka RM, has made headlines after expressing his disappointment with the band’s agency, Hybe. The seven members of the South Korean boyband, RM, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook and V held a live session to interact with their fans. During the session, the boys spoke about their reunion and upcoming album, but RM also remarked on their agency, which now has the internet divided.

During the live session, RM said, “I wish our company had some affection for us,” to which his bandmates immediately responded. While J-Hope asked for the reason behind his statement, Jin defended Hybe by saying, “Doesn’t the company care? They work hard for us.” However, RM responded, “I don’t usually say things like this, right? I just don’t know. I wish they would look after us and treat us with more care.”

RM’s statement has the internet divided, with a lot of fans coming to his defence. But several South Korean netizens have slammed him as well.

“How far is the company supposed to “hold them”? They even stuck by drunk driving, couldn’t stop full-body tattoos, so how much more are they supposed to do?” said one user in criticism, while another commented, “Then just leave the company. Seriously, they’re unique.”
Coming to BTS’ rescue were their international fans. They resonated with what RM said and rallied behind him. One person wrote in response to the criticism, “
The way hybe/BH really mishandled their solo career and lacked in so many things like their promotions, certifications, YT , radio, playlisting but we just let it slide but now the members also have this feeling and it’s really pissing me off”

“rm told the truth, only BTS knows what’s going on within hybe..from small company that suddenly became big after BTS success, too much people involved with problematic new management, new artists joined, so much problems now and of course BTS felt neglected..,” wrote another fan.

However, RM assured fans that something really big is coming and 2026 will be BTS’ year.
