Two days after a 30-year-old kabaddi player was shot dead in the middle of a tournament in Punjab’s Mohali, the main accused, Harwinder alias Middu, was killed in a police encounter.

A 34-year-old mechanic died after a scooter fall while being rushed to the hospital following a heart attack. His wife alleges that a private hospital’s delay in treatment and the apathy of passing motorists contributed to his death. She is demanding action against the hospital and urging for greater public compassion.
