A minor road altercation on the Katraj–Dehu Road bypass escalated into a brutal attack, leaving a 28-year-old Mumbai woman with a grievous eye injury. Three men on a two-wheeler allegedly chased and pelted stones at her car after an alleged minor foot injury during an overtaking maneuver.

Apparently, unpaid water bills have piled up to Rs 700 crore over the years. The BWSSB expects to recover around Rs 450 crore as the principal amount through the settlement scheme.
