Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran wish filmmaker Meghna Gulzar on her birthday. Interestingly, the two are working on the upcoming film Daayra, which Meghna is directing. The film is being produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios.
In the behind-the-scenes glimpses, Kareena is seen in a casual avatar while filming her parts. She shared the clicks with the caption, “To sum up in words the feeing I have had working with @meghnagulzar will always be less…Daayra is nothing short of one of my most special films as it marks my first with the kind, gentle, passionate, smart and ever so sharp Meghna Gulzar… and to bring to life a subject that is so exciting… To be in your direction and under your guidance has been one of my most fulfilling acts… What an honour to be directed by you director sahiba…but… on this journey I have discovered such a wonderful soul…On your big day I wish you nothing but the best and can’t wait for the world to see the genius in our film Daayra… Happy Birthday you Tigress… So grateful our paths crossed.”
Prithviraj, on the other hand, shared a click with the caption, “Happy birthday to this incredible filmmaker and friend, @meghnagulzar.”
Sometime back, a video montage, featuring Meghna, Kareena and Prithviraj was shared to officially announce the movie. It was captioned as, “Lights, Camera, #Daayra! The lights are on, the cameras are rolling! Daayra #ShootBegins. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen studios.”
Kareena had also shared the video, stating, “Day 1 68th film. Daayra with the most amazing @meghnagulzar and @therealprithvi …Send love and blessings.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were photographed at Mumbai’s private airport. The actor-cricketer duo were clicked with tight security as they exited the airport premises. Virat made his way out of the airport first, followed by Anushka, who was walking closely behind him.

On the professional front, there were rumours of Anushka Sharma starrer Chakda Xpress being released soon, but no official confirmation has been provided yet.
