The government has suspended new flight duty time limitation rules for pilots, aiming to normalize IndiGo’s flight schedules by Monday. This decision, made in the interest of passengers, follows IndiGo’s cancellation of over 750 flights. A high-level inquiry will investigate the disruptions and determine accountability.

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu confirmed that the government had ordered a formal inquiry to investigate the causes of the disruption.
