Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar visited a temple after a breakfast meeting with CM Siddaramaiah amid a power tussle. Shivakumar, who faced legal challenges, expressed a sense of glory at the temple. The meeting followed reports of a power-sharing agreement between the two leaders after the 2023 assembly elections.

Harsimran, also known as Badal and Simran, a wanted gangster linked to Goldy Dhillon and 23 criminal cases, was arrested by Delhi Police after being deported from Bangkok.

The evacuation plan comes as severe flooding and landslides triggered by Cyclone Ditwah continue to batter the island nation.
