Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, known for his film 12th Fail, has announced his next venture titled Zero Se Restart. The film will delve into the behind-the-scenes journey of the sleeper hit 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar.

Produced under the banner of Vinod Chopra Films, Zero Se Restart will showcase the making of the blockbuster film 12th Fail.

Chopra has decided to make a feature film to unveil the making of the film, giving the audience a glimpse behind the camera, which is a rare move in the history of Indian cinema. Speaking about the film, he said, “The film Zero Se Restart narrates the journey of 12th Fail, right from its inception to all the hurdles that came in its way, from no one believing in the film to the team even being advised against a theatrical release. It’s a tale of triumph against all scepticism and odds. This film is not a lecture on how to make movies, but a fun and crazy story of how it all actually happened. After 12th Fail got so much love and support from the people, it only felt right that we share this story with them.”

Vinod Chopra Films follows the motto of the 3E’s, which is to entertain, educate, and elevate. Zero Se Restart is set to deliver a captivating narrative of one of Indian Cinema’s most remarkable success stories, ensuring an entertaining and engaging experience.

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming movie Lucky Baskhar’s teaser is out and is giving a retro vibe. The film, set to hit theatres in July 2024, stars Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. Directed by Venky Atluri, the movie gives a glimpse into the life of a middle-class banker.

Dulquer Salmaan plays a common man, a middle-class banker from India who suddenly acquires a lot of wealth. He took to social media to announce his film on the occasion of Eid, writing, “A Common…Middle Class…Indian Man! Dive into the extraordinary world of #LuckyBaskhar!” The makers had unveiled the first look of the poster in February.

The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. It is produced by Naga Vamsi S & Sai Soujanya Under Sithara Entertainments & Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios.

Dulquer will start shooting for his next film, Suriya 43, with Suriya, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma.
