A man, Mithilesh Bai, attacked his wife with an axe, cutting off her right arm, before fleeing the scene. The incident happened at 2 am on Wednesday in Barkhedi village. Allegedly, Mithilesh was driven by suspicions of his wife, Kamal Ahirwar, having an affair. Kamal, who has a disability in one leg, and Mithilesh had been married for 16 years.
