Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday claimed that migrant workers and the youth are the real “X factor” of the ongoing assembly elections in Bihar, and not the women.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar assured the public that the election’s integrity remains intact despite VVPAT slips found roadside in Bihar’s Samastipur. These were from mock polls, not actual voting. The assistant returning officer responsible has been suspended for negligence, and an FIR is being filed. The Election Commission acted swiftly after a video of the incident went viral.

India will receive eight more Cheetahs from Botswana for Project Cheetah, with translocation soon. There are currently 27 Cheetahs in India.
