Amidst the hype surrounding the release of the first single from his upcoming film, Peddi, Ram Charan shared an interesting poster on his social media handle! And it is a sort of confirmation about the first single from his rustic action drama, tagging director Buchi Babu Sana, composer AR Rahman, and singer Mohit Chauhan.

On his social media handle X, Ram Charan asked, ‘What’s cooking guys.?’ And Rahman replies, “Chikiri Chikiri” Charan garu,” with a smile confirming the track’s title as ‘Chikiri Chikiri.’ The song is tipped to be a high-energy love anthem. The Peddi team announced a special update for Tuesday, building anticipation ahead of the film’s March 2026 release starring Janhvi Kapoor.

According to reports, the first single (full version) from Peddi will be released as part of Rahman’s much awaited concert at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 8. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, composed by AR Rahman and choreographed by Jani Master, the track captures the raw love. However, the latest buzz suggests that the song will be released digitally on November 6, ahead of the music maestro’s live performance. Since this is the first Rahman is scoring music for a Ram Charan-starrer, the expectations are naturally high. Charan’s films are always high on music; the actor has some of the best chartbuster numbers in Tollywood over the last decade or so. He always aspires for great musicals, and collaborating with the maestro is a conscious move made by the director.

Set in 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh, the plot centres on a spirited villager who unites his community through sports to defend their honour against a powerful rival. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, blends real and fictional stories and is scheduled for a March 27, 2026 release.
