Tragedy struck Mount Yalung Ri in Nepal as an avalanche claimed the lives of seven individuals, including five foreign climbers and two local guides. Five others sustained injuries in the incident at the mountain’s base camp. Rescue efforts are underway to reach the remote location, hampered by challenging terrain and weather.
