Hailing from a culturally diverse background with roots in Chennai and Udupi, Sushmitha began learning dance at a young age. The classical art form played a significant role in shaping her artistic expression. And director Ra Karthik wanted to tap this side of her in his film. Sushmitha’s expressive side to seamlessly shift between various emotions was the clincher.
Barely five years into showbiz, Sushmitha has already worked in all the four South languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The actress is reportedly excited to be part of Nagarjuna’s film. He believes that Sushmitha’s dance background helps to portray complex emotions on screen as her character navigates through various layers,” informs a source. Produced by Nagarjuna himself, he would resume shooting for a new schedule later this month.
