Injured devotees are receiving treatment, with authorities fearing a rise in the death toll.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused the central government of neglecting Kannada and imposing Hindi, stating the state receives a “paltry amount” in return for its significant revenue contribution.
