Delhi woke up to a thick haze and fog on Thursday, pushing air quality into the ‘very poor’ category with an AQI of 357. Visibility dropped significantly as calm winds and fog trapped pollutants. Several areas, including Akshardham and Anand Vihar, experienced ‘severe’ air quality. This marks a sharp deterioration from previous days.

According to the police, the driver has been arrested and the vehicle involved in the accident has been seized.
