Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said on Wednesday that two people had been killed after Cyclone Montha made landfall in the state.

A Kalaripayattu trainer allegedly rammed his car into a food delivery agent’s scooter after a minor road brush, resulting in the agent’s death. The couple, arrested for murder, confessed to the deliberate act after being identified through CCTV footage. They were sent to 14-day judicial custody.

Delhi woke up to a thick haze and fog on Thursday, pushing air quality into the ‘very poor’ category with an AQI of 357. Visibility dropped significantly as calm winds and fog trapped pollutants. Several areas, including Akshardham and Anand Vihar, experienced ‘severe’ air quality. This marks a sharp deterioration from previous days.
