Prabhas-Hanu film pre-look excites fans

Ever since Prabhas’ film with director Hanu Raghavapudi went on floors last year, the project garnered unprecedented curiosity. More so because the patriotic historical action-drama would reportedly showcase the superstar in the role of an Army officer. With the film set against the backdrop of 1945 pre-independence India, it will reportedly explore themes of bravery, love, and sacrifice, many fans were excited to see Prabhas donning the khakis for the first time. And the title was also speculated to be Fauji where the story follows the journey of a soldier in the British Indian Army. While the unit completed 40 per cent of the shooting, they shared the film’s pre-look for Diwali and announced that the title would be revealed on Prabhas’s birthday. “A battalion who stands alone,” read the caption by the production house. The pre-look poster features Prabhas’ silhouette surrounded by an array of guns further building excitement. Fans went berserk following the pre-look reveal anticipating a high-voltage action spectacle.

Reports were doing the rounds that the actress has replaced Kiara Advani in Shakti Shalini, but there was no official announcement. But now the makers have revealed it through a post-credit scene in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thamma.
The makers attached the announcement teaser of Shakti Shalini along with Thamma. The words on the clip read, “The protector. The destroyer. The mother of all. Aneet Padda in Shakti Shalini. Shakti unleashed Dec 24, 2026.” This video has now gone viral all-over social media. Take a look:

Meanwhile, last month Maddock Films issued a statement amid the reports of Aneet replacing Kiara and urged everyone to wait for official announcements from the production house. The Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe started with Stree (2018), directed by Amar Kaushik and featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. This film achieved huge commercial and critical acclaim, eventually leading to Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024) and Stree 2 (2024). Thamma is the latest release from the MHCU. Besides Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
