Prabhas-Hanu film pre-look excites fans

Ever since Prabhas’ film with director Hanu Raghavapudi went on floors last year, the project garnered unprecedented curiosity. More so because the patriotic historical action-drama would reportedly showcase the superstar in the role of an Army officer. With the film set against the backdrop of 1945 pre-independence India, it will reportedly explore themes of bravery, love, and sacrifice, many fans were excited to see Prabhas donning the khakis for the first time. And the title was also speculated to be Fauji where the story follows the journey of a soldier in the British Indian Army. While the unit completed 40 per cent of the shooting, they shared the film’s pre-look for Diwali and announced that the title would be revealed on Prabhas’s birthday. “A battalion who stands alone,” read the caption by the production house. The pre-look poster features Prabhas’ silhouette surrounded by an array of guns further building excitement. Fans went berserk following the pre-look reveal anticipating a high-voltage action spectacle.

Since The Raja Saab is the first film to release on January 9, 2026, many fans expected the makers to share an important update on the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday (Wednesday). The superstar is presently shooting songs in Greece, and buzz is that the first single, Prabhas’ introduction song, would be unveiled on his birthday. But much to the fans’ disappointment, the makers clarified that the song would be out only in November.
