US President Donald Trump announced the end of the Gaza war and a ceasefire deal, expecting hostages to be released Monday or Tuesday. He plans a trip to Egypt for an official signing of the agreement. However, Hamas rejected Trump’s proposed “Board of Peace” to oversee Gaza’s administration.

The Prime Minister said India welcomes the agreement on the release of hostages and enhanced humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.
