And injuries on film sets are inevitable, despite taking all the precautions and safety measures! Adivi Sesh reportedly sustained an injury on the sets of his upcoming film Dacoit. The actor was shooting for an intense action sequence, and the incident seems to have happened recently.

Adivi Sesh’s film Dacoit was supposed to hit the screens on December 25, 2025. The film was one of the most-anticipated films given his credibility as an actor and the film’s striking visuals in the promo. But due to the injury, the schedule for filming Dacoit has been revised. While the exact nature of the injury remains undisclosed, we have learnt that Sesh suffered the injury while performing an action sequence. The makers have a good amount of shooting to be completed, but in the larger interest of the actor’s safety, they have reportedly decided to postpone the release.

Adivi Sesh recuperating

A source close to the unit confirmed the incident, highlighting the risks involved in such demanding action sequences. “In an attempt to push his physical limits to create a compelling performance, Sesh injured his left leg. The injury happened on the sets of Dacoit in Hyderabad. The actor is presently recuperating.” Well, the glitz and glamour of the big screen often mask the gruelling realities behind the scenes. What say, eh!

Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit also stars Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap as an antagonist. The film follows an angry convict seeking vengeance against his former girlfriend who betrayed him. The film is a gritty and realistic portrayal of the violence that drives and shows how ordinary people became an outlaw. “An explosion of guns and roses, betrayal and trust, and, above all, love and loss. An intense action drama with a beating heart,” is how the filmmakers described Dacoit.
