A devastating fire, caused by a short circuit, erupted in the Trauma ICU of SMS Hospital in Jaipur, leading to chaos and multiple casualties. Hospital staff reportedly fled, leaving panicked relatives to rescue trapped patients amidst thick smoke. The incident tragically resulted in patient deaths and exposed critical safety lapses within the facility.

Eight critical patients were killed in Jaipur hospital fire. Families of the victims have alleged hospital negligence and said no action was taken to douse the fire.
