A doctor was left with a ruptured eardrum and a bloody nose following an attack by the relatives of a patient at a hospital in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon.

The minister said the children who died were suffering from comorbidities and had been administered the cough syrup by their parents without a doctor’s prescription.

The man allegedly drowned his four-month-old son in Beed, then died by suicide.
