Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan recently appeared on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, where they opened up about their bond with each other, their respective relationships, and more. Alia, who married Ranbir Kapoor in 2022, shared candid thoughts on why they decided to have an intimate wedding. She also revealed that she loved trolling her actor-husband.
Alia said, “Ranbir and I have a natural friendship. So, it was never a dewy-eyed or rose-tinted sort of a relationship. There was always a relationship of best friends. I married him because he is wonderful to me, and just as a human being. But 100% the person I love trolling the most is him. And the person he loves trolling the most is me. And I feel that is a very natural dynamic between two people.”
Talking about how their bond has changed since the birth of their daughter Raha, she continued, “Our bond has changed after we have had our daughter, it’s totally different. We are a unit now. Way more a unit than perhaps before.”
The Jigra actress also opened up about their intimate wedding. She added, “We are home bodies, very socially awkward. We just wanted the closest people in our lives with us. I did not want to be attending to people at our wedding.” The couple considered several other venues but ultimately chose their home as the perfect place to get married. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14, 2022. They welcomed their daughter Raha the same year in November.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Alpha with Sharvari and Bobby Deol. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited Love & War, where she will star alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
