Pawan Kalyan’s latest release They Call Him OG released to great response from various quarters on Thursday. As much as fans enjoyed seeing their favourite star in action, they were also surprised to see a ‘special song’ missing from the action entertainer. Actress Neha Sshetty shot for a special number in Thailand. At a filmy event earlier this year, the actress confirmed she shot for the peppy number. But surprisingly, it went missing from the gangster drama.

Neha Sshetty’s song was one of the most-awaited numbers for its peppiness and grooving beats, at least that was how it was reported. Director Sujeeth shot the song lavishly at a pub in Thailand, and according to reports, it was a club song with many dancers in the background in action. However, the song was not released as part of the promotions either, perhaps why Neha Sshetty too remained silent. The development certainly disappointed the fans. Apparently, director Sujeeth was very excited when he shot the number, but at the edit table, he felt the song was interrupting the narrative.
A source close to the film unit informs, “Sujeeth was pretty kicked about the special track, but later he felt that the song was never in sync with the narrative. If he still tried to accommodate the number, it would be a forceful insertion… subsequently affecting the entire flow of the story and mood of the film experience. Sujeeth discussed the matter with Pawan and later took the decision.”

After the Telangana government approved higher ticket prices for OG, (special price of Rs 800 for premiere shows) recently, the High Court of Telangana has put a hold on the government order (GO) on Wednesday. But by the time, many fans bought the tickets for the above said price. The matter has been adjourned to October 9 for the next hearing.
