Hilarious narrative

“When I heard the story, it instantly resonated with me,” comments Thiruveer. “The narrative is so hilarious that I wanted to do the film straightaway. And when producers Sandeep Agaram and Asmita Reddy Basani wanted to bankroll the film, I should support and be part of a good story. That’s why I launched the Puppet Show banner and became part of the project without taking remuneration,” shared the actor, recalling that shooting in freezing temperatures for over a month in Araku was challenging. While the Great Pre-Wedding Show is slated for release on November 7, the actor describes the film unit as ‘young and vibrant.’

Thiruveer is riding the high horse with two back-to-back successes like Masooda and Pareshan. The actor was earlier part of content-driven films, and continues to pick films on those lines. According to him, stories always drive the narrative. His aspirations to bring a new side to each film is a catalyst to it. While his nuanced performances in his earlier films have hogged the limelight, Thiruveer states that being part of content-oriented films is the key to sustenance. “As an actor, I think the challenge lies in constantly reinventing ourselves and looking at scripts in totality. As much as I aspire to be part of different genre films, I also look at how I am evolving as an actor. The success of George Reddy and Masooda have taught me how to choose engaging and rooted stories and yet be versatile.”
