Karnataka’s deputy CM, DK Shivakumar, has mandated pothole repairs in Bengaluru by November following criticism over deteriorating roads. This directive comes after BlackBuck’s CEO announced relocation due to traffic and road conditions. The government has pledged Rs 1,100 crore for road development, aiming to create smooth, pothole-free roads across the city and address concerns from industry leaders.

Earlier, the scheme covered only unemployed youth with intermediate pass. It now extends to arts, science, and commerce graduates, who will also get the allowance
