Nepal Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung on Tuesday said Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli will not resign, even as massive protests continued to rock Kathmandu for a second consecutive day, and a few ministers so far pulled out from the Cabinet.

Police records show that Abdul Halim, now named among the accused, had filed a First Information Report (FIR) about a month ago against the present complainant, Charan Singh Kushwaha, at the same police station.

Tension continues to grip Nepal on Tuesday as fresh protests erupted in several parts of the country, a day after the KP Sharma Oli government revoked a ban on social media.
