Days after Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir’s nuclear threat against India and the description of his own country as a “dumper truck”, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the remarks were a reflection of a “predatory” mentality.

Vikas Yadav sought interim bail on the ground that his marriage was fixed for September 5 and he had to arrange the fine amount of Rs 54 lakh which was imposed on him at the time of sentencing.

A former sanitation worker in Karnataka is now under arrest. He claimed he was forced to bury murder victims in Dharmasthala. The worker alleged this happened over several years. He filed a complaint and even provided skeletal remains. Police registered a case and are investigating the claims. The man also sought protection for himself and his family.
