In Hari Nagar, New Delhi, a devastating wall collapse triggered by heavy overnight rainfall resulted in the tragic deaths of at least eight people. The collapse damaged nearby shanties located near an old temple, prompting immediate rescue operations by the Delhi Fire Services. Authorities have evacuated residents from adjacent shanties to prevent further incidents following the collapse.

Additional DCP (South East) Aishwarya Sharma said the wall was next to an old temple and a cluster of jhuggies occupied by scrap dealers.
