Hundreds of representatives of Syria’s various ethnic and religious groups called Friday for the formation of a decentralised state and the drafting of a new constitution that guarantees religious, cultural and ethnic pluralism.

Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Friday flagged “serious irregularities” in the health department of Bihar, and alleged that leaders of the saffron party in the state are “more corrupt” than RJD president Lalu Prasad.

Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of electoral roll lapses in Karnataka, presenting documents as evidence of “vote chori.” The ECI has requested Gandhi to submit an oath-bound declaration along with his evidence to initiate a probe. The BJP has criticised Gandhi, accusing him of undermining the ECI and inadvertently supporting electoral roll revisions.
