A cloudburst-triggered flash flood in Uttarkashi’s Dharali village caused widespread devastation, sweeping away homes, shops, and roads. Rescue teams, including SDRF and Army personnel, are on-site conducting relief operations amid fears that laborers may be trapped. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for continued heavy rainfall across Uttarakhand, particularly in hilly areas, until August 10.
