A woman died in a private hospital in Bihar’s Siwan after giving birth to twins. The family has claimed that the woman passed away due to alleged negligence by the hospital authorities and said that the doctors ran away.

Umendra Singh Thakur, 28, died after being allegedly brutally beaten by a group of labourers and guards associated with a bridge construction company. The attackers accused him of stealing iron rods – a suspicion that turned into a fatal assault.
