US President Donald Trump has announced new 50 per cent tariffs on copper, after having implemented similar duties on steel and aluminium imports.

The Mahagathbandhan alliance in Bihar launched a “Bihar Bandh” to protest the Election Commission’s special intensive revision of electoral rolls. Opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav led rallies, alleging the revision disenfranchises marginalized voters ahead of upcoming elections.
