China has lodged a formal protest with India following Prime Minister Modi’s birthday greetings to the Dalai Lama and the attendance of Indian officials at his 90th birthday celebrations. Beijing views the Dalai Lama as a separatist and accuses India of interfering in its internal affairs.

The bench of Justice Bibhu Datta Guru underscored that a pujari is merely a grantee with the limited duty of offering prayers and managing temple rituals.

Dr KS Ravindranath, Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, said, “We haven’t seen a direct link between vaccine or COVID and heart attacks.”
