India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Takeshi Iwaya, and Australia’s Penny Wong attended the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting at the US Department of State on Tuesday.

NASA astronaut Anil Menon has been assigned his first mission to the International Space Station, serving as a flight engineer and Expedition 75 crew member, NASA said in its official statement.

Jaishankar met US Secretary of Defence and highlighted the strategic importance of India-US defence ties, describing them as “one of the most consequential pillars”.
